Mayumi Rollings works across animation production, creative leadership, and the practical work of helping artists navigate new tools. At Tiny Ghost Studios and in BC + AI Film Club programming, she treats AI filmmaking as a craft conversation: what changes, what remains, and what creators need in order to keep agency over the work.
Her shared spotlight with Luke Minaker captures that approach in miniature. The emphasis is on experiments that can be shown, discussed, and improved in public. Mayumi brings an industry transition into the room without flattening it into either hype or refusal, making space for artists to compare processes and decide where the technology actually belongs.
