What this is

You did not attend this into existence. You built it.

Futureproof Festival is an international AI culture and ideas festival. It grows from the BC + AI meetups, hackathons, and film nights into three shared days with artists, engineers, educators, filmmakers, researchers, and builders. Vancouver is the host city. The conversation is international.

Nobody planned this in a boardroom. It started as a monthly Vancouver AI meetup that kept outgrowing its room. Then hackathons. Then a film festival. Then years of people showing up because the stakes are real and the gathering is not boring. The festival is that work, put in front of the world. This is the year it gets a stage.

Opening-Night Creative AI Live Set

Opening night is a live creative AI set. The gathering starts the way the community does, with people performing the work rather than talking about it.

AI Film Festival Closing Party

Three days end the way every good meetup ends, in the room afterward with the people you just met.
