Vancouver AI Meetup — March 2026
March's Vancouver AI Community Meetup opened with Anthony Joseph's Squamish Nation welcome, then Kris Krüg made the case for a grounded middle path between AI hype and outright rejection.
Lawrence Okolo ran a live OpenClaw demo, teaching a robot to listen in front of the room, while Mayumi showcased the AI Film Club prompt challenge that has turned into a running creative movement. Between talks, the room heard from someone who trained AI on stolen work and came out the other side more creative than before, and a talk connecting Indigenous wisdom to how the AI age treats time as an asset.
