Kris Krüg’s spotlight turns the camera toward the person usually holding the microphone. He describes BC + AI as an ecosystem built through recurring gatherings, creative experiments, education, and the patient work of introducing people who might otherwise remain in separate parts of the province’s technology and cultural life.
The recording also reflects his background as a photographer and creative technologist. Documentation is part of the organizing: faces, talks, and unfinished ideas are kept visible so the community can remember its own formation. Kris’s frame is not the whole room. It is a view of the hosting practice that keeps making room for others to enter it.
