Vancouver AI Meetup - June 2025
June's Vancouver AI Community Meetup brought Morten Rand-Hendriksen to the stage with "MCP: Machine Controlled Pandemonium" — a look at what happens when Model Context Protocol hands AI agents the controls that used to sit with a human pilot.
Kris Krüg followed with a BC + AI Ecosystem Analysis & Roadmap, sharing what 50 voices from the community said the province's AI scene needs next, with a clear ask for inclusion and impact to stay non-negotiable.
The night also marked the launch of Vancouver AI CORE membership — a 12-month pass to every gathering and the community's members-only group chat.
