Surrey AI built the momentum. People showed up, compared notes, and gave people a reason to gather south of the Fraser without crossing a bridge first.

FV+AI keeps the same people and spirit, then opens the map. From Langley to Chilliwack, this is where neighbours bring what they're working on and make AI useful close to home.

Then the room showed up.

Thirty people filled Darren Coleman's office in Langley for the first FV+AI gathering. A high school student, a cybersecurity analyst, a TEDx coach, a professor who has been building AI since before it was a career path. Everybody introduced themselves before anyone gave a talk, and that turned out to be the best part.

What happens here should matter here.

AI should not be something that only happens downtown or in someone else's pitch deck. Bring it back to the Valley. Put real problems on the table, with the people who live here in the room.
