Kris Krüg

I’m a photographer, creative technologist, and community builder in Vancouver. As Executive Director of BC + AI, I’m helping build British Columbia’s AI industry from the ground up, with creativity, public benefit, and local people at the centre. I founded Vancouver AI and Futureproof Festival to bring people together around what AI means for our work, culture, and communities. My own practice spans photography, filmmaking, software, and experiments with AI agents. I care about open tools, who owns what we build, and how we keep our judgment while using increasingly powerful machines. Find me if you’re working on something useful, weird, beautiful, or worth doing together.
