I started with a Computer Science degree and early consulting work in financial services and law — paper-intensive, data-critical industries where process failures are costly. From there, I spent years inside the industries I now advise: rebuilding administration processes for an independent financial planning practice, then working as a licensed mortgage broker. Being an operator, not just a consultant, gives me a perspective most AI advisors don't have. I returned to tech as a project manager in the public sector, then moved into consulting — 12+ years leading complex programs for provincial government, Crown corporations, and post-secondary institutions. I recently relocated to Vancouver and founded ArcNova Consulting Ltd. to pursue opportunities in a larger market, including helping small businesses navigate AI with the same rigour I bring to public sector work.
