Surrey AI Community Meetup #8, "From Classrooms to Clinics," gathered healthcare founders, managed IT operators, photographers, students, and infrastructure builders around one theme: what's actually working with AI in their businesses and lives.
Paul Rex broke down life-sciences AI strategy and FDA approval pathways, Michelle Diamond spoke on authenticity versus synthetic imagery from a working photographer's seat, and Dean Shev covered data sovereignty and multi-model research. Students Aliza and Noa showed how Gen Z is actually using AI to learn, hosted throughout by Matthew Schwartzman.
