July's AI Film Club traded the stage for a circle. Filmmakers, creative technologists, and AI-curious community members filled Multimodal Media Lab for a networking night: food, drinks, and a room set up for talking to each other instead of watching a program.

The one piece of structure was the idea wall. Sticky notes went up all evening answering two questions: what do you want Film Club to be, and what do you want from Futureproof Festival this October. Small groups formed around laptops and works in progress, and the wall filled as the night went on.
