Regional chapters and special interest groups

From one Vancouver meetup to a province-wide AI community.

BC + AI became a nonprofit because the work had grown bigger than one room. The communities below are the pillars: local chapters, creative labs, education circles, policy rooms, and philosophical deep dives where people can learn, argue, build, and belong.

Origin
Vancouver AI created the pattern: a big-tent room for builders, artists, educators, researchers, founders, and civic voices.
Shift
The nonprofit formed because new circles kept springing up underneath the main meetup.
Shape
Each community has its own cadence, questions, hosts, culture, and next step.
