20+ years of tech entrepreneurship, 7 years in mathematics, and academic training in physics have taught me to speak clearly, plan well, trust the team, and dream deeply. Underlying the usual complexity and uncertainty there are golden nuggets of opportunity – if only they can be articulated into existence, dredged to the surface, and translated to necessity. Then something truly amazing happens.
Over that time, I have focused on emergent technologies and their markets in medtech, fintech and IT - utilizing cloud, data, software and algorithms, analytics and visualization, clinical research, technology commercialization, IP management, market analysis, software development, team management, and strategic vision. This journey has given me a wealth of experience in hardware manufacture, ISO 13485 and Quality Systems, medical devices, and mobile health, product development, IP, R&D, business strategy and technology vision, and team building. I have worked with CEOs to raise money, with researchers and clinicians to generate innovation, with dev teams to produce commercial solutions, and with marketing teams to craft a compelling message. I discovered an uncommon strength in unpacking problems to identify the right questions, public speaking, and technology evangelism.
