Jai Djwa is a UX strategist, facilitator, artist, and creative technologist who teaches in the IDEA School of Design and runs Agentic Digital Media. His work sits where curiosity, care, and systems thinking meet, supporting medium to large social-change organizations as they navigate complex digital ecologies. With over 25 years of experience in UX research, digital strategy, and creative direction, particularly in the arts and law sectors, Jai brings both rigour and a sense of play to the work.
His practice focuses on creating online experiences that are clear, humane, and engaging for diverse audiences. He has led dozens of UX research projects, often working closely with communities of colour, Indigenous communities in BC, and people with disabilities. As an educator, Jai enjoys helping emerging designers connect theory, technology, and real-world impact—while keeping room for experimentation, collaboration, and a bit of whimsy. He is also expanding his practice as a mediator, supporting arts boards and staff in navigating conflict, communication, and change with care and clarity.
