Jessica Liang

CEO/Co-Founder at Apricity

Individual

Jessica has been building spaces where people belong for the last 8 years.

As a third culture kid who grew up across 4 countries and 9 schools before the age of 15, she learned early that belonging doesn't happen by accident - it's designed intentionally.

She spent six years proving that at Nook, a coworking community she built in Richmond after converting a karaoke bar into a space that hosted 250+ events in two years, and won Richmond's New Business of the Year award in 2025. Nook is a living room for builders, and proof that founders build better when they feel held by their community.

Now she's building Apricity, a hosted build environment in Yaletown for overwhelmed early-stage founders, launching in June 2026. Apricity is the pre-accelerator landing pad the ecosystem needs. No polished pitch required - just a structured environment where overwhelmed founders who are still employed or carrying heavy responsibilities can finally stop planning and start building.

Jessica's background spans UX research, management consulting, grant strategy, agricultural community design, event production, and space operations. She designs the operational container first, then brings in the right people to run each lane. Her team includes leaders in growth strategy, operations, and technology.

Her mission is simple: to build the infrastructure that helps overwhelmed impact-driven builders ship faster and stay in the game longer.
