I am a writer, organizational development strategist, and community-builder working in the areas of arts and culture, member-based non-profits, and healthcare. I founded a curated literary reading series called Real Vancouver in 2010 that served more than 300 authors from BC and across Canada, hosted a podcast called Books on the Radio, and am currently working on a novel-length manuscript based on the independent music community in east Vancouver at the turn of the millennium.
Other aspects of generalized nerdiness in my life include running the Storm Crow Tavern and Alehouse back in the day and performing as a part of the Strike Sessions, an all-vinyl funk, soul, and hip-hop dj collective with a monthly residency at the Fox Cabaret in the before-times.
I approach AI as a human-centred tool with enormous potential for helping people to unleash and hone their creativity and build new projects and communities that can transform legacy systems into new and vital pathways for personal and social good.
