What happens here
Privacy-safe by design
Public news asset already live; crowd is shown at room scale and the page avoids attendee identity.
Recent / upcoming signal
Public hub for the next Comox Valley RSVP links.
The first public proof point: 75 registrations, 75 attendees, and local sponsor momentum.
Public context
Education, open-source AI, professional disruption, local compute, privacy, community resilience, and the human-development question running underneath all of it.
Start with the public Luma hub. Private group channels and organizer details stay off the public page and are shared through the chapter's in-person flow.
The page uses already-published event imagery and public recap language only. It does not publish private chats, contact details, or attendee-specific stories.
Story so far
CV + AI proves the BC + AI model travels. The first Comox Valley AI community meetup was meant to be a planning session. Instead, 75 people registered and 75 showed up.
The room had local compute builders, educators, creatives, civic leaders, parents, Natural Pastures bringing sponsorship energy, and people already wrestling with what AI means for work, school, culture, and human development.
The chapter keeps the core question simple and deep: what does it mean to be human in the age of AI?
